Anti-AI: There IS Hope and the Bandit is ready to Help

It's already here. You get AI to write something up for you —a blog, an article, your LinkedIn profile, a cover letter, even a podcast script-- and it doesn't read or sound anything like what a real person says, especially not you. You've heard the YouTube videos where the same voice just says the same thing over and over again without much detail and certainly without human voice, tone, fluidity, emphasis or consistency. You have explored those websites that are repetitive and say what they think you want to hear, but where's the voice of the real person you'd like to know actually runs that business? Maybe you've received cold call style emails that never actually tell you what they are selling. Enough!
Avoid sounding like AI. YOU want your blog post to sound like you. Here's an example of how one blog post sounds when written by AI:
This is what AI gave me when I asked it to write a blog called “The Art of Saying 'No'”:
“Saying 'no' can feel uncomfortable for many of us. We often worry about disappointing others, missing opportunities, or appearing unhelpful. However, the ability to say no is a powerful skill that can lead to better mental health, stronger relationships, and increased personal productivity.”
This is how my own blog started out
“Saying ‘No’ allows you to say ‘Yes’ and mean it. This is going to be the fun part where I help you make a ‘NO’ cootie catcher - remember them?
But first, the skinny: we women have been taught to ‘give in’ more than to stand up to and set boundaries. As Ghandi said, 'Nobody can hurt me without my permission.' Oh, and we give that permission over and over again, and wonder why others don’t respect our dreams and wishes, much less why they don’t anticipate them.
Which are these are you going to give your precious time?
A quick search of YouTube for 'how to identify AI writing' popped up more than 20 videos before I stopped counting. Searching for 'how does AI affect my website's SEO' reveals that for a lot of website owners, AI is ranking them pretty damn low. SEO wants real copy made by real people, and that sounds interesting to real people, real customers.
This is how line editing and proofreading can help. The Bandit can and will make your text sound like a real person believes in what it says, whatever the 'it.' That cover letter, college application essay, or dissertation, grant application, or simple blog post can sound great with thoughtful editing to convey your voice, your goals and agenda, with genuine beginning to end flow, actual details or instructions.
